Event security pose many risks, challenges and security concerns. Preventing crimes such as assaults, robberies, vandalism and theft among others are all part of the security assessment, planning and procedures. We identify the five different types of crowds for rapid intervention: acquisitive crowds, expressive crowds, spectator crowds, hostile crowds and escape crowds.
