Event Security

Event security pose many risks, challenges and security concerns. Preventing crimes such as assaults, robberies, vandalism and theft among others are all part of the security assessment, planning and procedures. Other risks include terrorism, medical emergencies, fires and traffic concerns to name a few. Violence such as fights, and underage drinking are other concerns when hosting any event. Not having proper security can lead to potential litigation. At Pro Protection Security, we take the liability away from our clients and host.

The proper and effective supervision any event is a key component to any successful security operation.

Effective crowd management is a major step in avoiding a disaster during any special event. Access control is also a key component as to who is allowed onto the premise or allowed into a particular event or party. Criteria for getting into a facility can include tickets or a guest list.

We identify the five different types of crowds for rapid intervention: acquisitive crowds, expressive crowds, spectator crowds, hostile crowds and escape crowds.

Pro Protection Security staff also notes the five psychological factors of crowd members: security, suggestion, novelty, loss of identity and release of emotions.
